Aluminum Trailer Forklift Mounting Kit
A Purpose-Built Mounting Solution for All-Aluminum Trailers
Mounting a truck-mounted forklift to an all-aluminum trailer presents challenges that do not exist with a conventional steel trailer. A standard steel mounting kit cannot simply be attached to the aluminum structure without properly managing load transfer, material compatibility, and the interface between the steel and aluminum components.
Konik has developed a purpose-built forklift mounting system for select all-aluminum trailer makes and models. The kit is engineered to provide the strength required to carry a truck-mounted forklift while protecting the trailer structure and addressing the complexities of joining steel mounting components to an aluminum trailer.
Currently available for select trailer configurations.

Engineered for Aluminum Trailer Construction
Standard forklift mounting kits are generally designed around steel trailer frames. Aluminum trailers require a different approach.
Load Distribution
The Konik Aluminum Trailer kit is designed to transfer the load directly to the trailer’s main beams and side rails.
Material Compatability
The Konik approach is a 100% bolt-on installation. There is no welding required for most applications.
Trailer-Specific Fit
We are adding trailer models regularly. Contact us for a current list of know models.

The Konik Aluminum Trailer Kit is designed around the specific structure of the trailer, including its crossmembers, frame rails, rear structure, dimensions, and intended forklift application. This allows us to develop a mounting solution that properly distributes the forklift loads without relying on a one-size-fits-all attachment method.
The result is a mounting system designed specifically for the demands of an all-aluminum trailer.

Why the Trailer Must Be Reviewed
Availability is currently limited to select trailer manufacturers and configurations and will expand as additional trailer designs are evaluated.
Aluminum trailer construction varies considerably between manufacturers, models, and production years. Before confirming that a kit is available, we need to review several details about the trailer and forklift combination.
Key requirements to use a Konik Aluminum Kit include:
- Trailers with a width of XX” to XX” between side rails (not the rubrails)
- Distance from rear of rear tire to the back of the trailer no less than 40″. All trailers should be assessed for weight and balance prior to undertaking modification.
- I-beam style main beams with a uniform web from upper flange to lower flange.
- Last 24″ of the trailer main beam web clear of attachments and obstructions.
Once this information has been reviewed, Konik can confirm compatibility and determine the appropriate kit configuration. Always consult your trailer manufacturer before undergoing modification.
